Welcome to HowToGarnish.com blog! This site was launched few months ago,
and since that time we received numerous inquiries of different types.
Mostly you were demanding adding more recipes. Yes, we will do our best, but
we ourselves are amateurs. This site was designed to form a community around
garnishing and food decoration, where we all can share advices
and ideas with others. We encourage you to submit your photos even if you
are not proffesional chefs. You will see, that others will be grateful.
In the future, we plan to add showcase functionality to each recipe, so that
when someone prepares the same recipe you submitted, he can post photo of his own
result and people can compare.
In other inquiries some of you were asking us to recommend
catering services or food stylists in your area, wanted us to deliver centerpieces for your wedding or parties, etc.
Therefore we decided to create a directory of food stylists, food photographers,
people and companies offering catering services and similar. Everyone will have
a chance to rate them and write reviews, so the directory will be helpful for
both proffesionals offering culinary services and their potential customers.
As already stated, we plan to extend this site by adding new functionality continuously.
As one of the first features, even before the directory or showcase, we are working on the blogging service.
Each of you will have a chance to write your own food related blogs, reaching out to our growing audience.
Besides that, we plan to inform you about news in the industry, about upcomming events,
and publish interviews with famous chefs.
For a start, we bring you an
exclusive interview with Chef Ray Duey!
Another feature already under development is a forum. Yes, forum is a must. You need a place to ask questions to get the right answers.
You can expect the forum to be implemented in a few months. We do this just as a hobby, in our free time, so you must be patient ;-)
If you have suggestions for another features, please do not hesitate and leave us a note
here.
Thanks!
