Instructions: Hi everybody! I'd like to explain you how to make a cute turtle. Take a Galia melon quite round. We're going to cut off one part, and add the head and four legs, which we are going to make with pieces of carrot. We're going to cut the design of the turtle's shell into the melon, so we'll have a lovely table centre-piece or decoration for a buffet. So you'll need the melon and carrots. As regarding the tools, ypu'll need a paring knife and a carving tool to cut the design into the surface of the melon, or otherwise you can use a lemon zester or citrus stripper, which are usually used to make lines in lemon peel. I'm going to use a carving tool, as it is easier to control the movement, pressure and direction. The first thing is to cut the melon more or less in half, one of the pieces is going to be the turtle shell, we're going to cut some concentric circles, like a kind of spider's web.
