Wash the tomatoes before starting

Carve a zig-zag line around the tomato using sharp tip of a tiny knife. Don't push the knife too deep to the tomato.
Step 3.
You're done. Maybe you won't be satisfied with your first result, but after some practising you will see how easy this is.
